~ Pine-cone Bird Feeder ~

Pine cones make for great bird feeders. Here's how to do it.

You will need:

A pine cone

Ribbon or string

Vegetable suet or lard

Bird seed

1. Tie the ribbon or string around the pine cone,

then mix lots of bird seed into the suet or lard.

2. Spread the seed mixture all over the pine cone, stuffing it firmly into the gaps.

3. Hang outside for the birds to enjoy.
