~ NEW Heights ! ! ~

I have found that sitting in a place where you have never sat before can be inspiring - Dodie Smith.

REPEATEDLY, today and every day, we will be in new situations, new settings with old friends, and old settings and situations with new friends.  EACH instance is fresh, unlike all the times before.  AND inspiration can accompany each moment, if we but recognise how special it is.

"We will never pass this way again," so the song says, which heightens the meaning of each encounter, every experience.  ACKNOWLEDGING that something can be gained each step along the way invites inspiration.

INSPIRATION moves us to new heights.  We will be called to step beyond our present boundaries.  MAYBE today.  WHENEVER the inspiration catches our attention, we can trust its invitation; we are ready for the challenge it offers.  We need not let our narrow, personal expectations of an experience, a new situation perhaps, prevent us from being open to all the dynamic possibilities it offers.

I must be willing to let my whole self be moved, inspired.  I must be willing to let each moment I experience to be the only moment getting my attention.

* "THAT fiery FURNACE" .. JOY in HIS presence ...

"BECAUSE of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning" (LAMENTATIONS 3:22-23).

"WHILE visiting a glass factory in Monterrey, Mexico, I watched with great interest as the skillful artist worked. WITH long tongs he first held a piece of glass in a furnace until it began to melt. REMOVING it, he went quickly to work. WITH simple tools and with lightning speed, he created a beautiful blown-glass ornament. THE finished product became a reality only after the glass was subjected to the intense heat of the furnace.

EVEN though we experience the heat of many trials, God is there to shape us in His beauty that we may be useful objects for His glory. THAT fiery furnace may be the loss of a loved one, a disaster resulting in loss of possessions, a financial crisis or the deep sadness of knowing a family member is unsaved. OUR journey here may sometimes be lonely; there may be bitter tears of disappointment and pain, yet it is in the crucible of lfe's testings that we are reminded of the love of our Heavenly Father.

WHAT a comfort it is to know that His mercies are new every morning and that there is real joy in His presence". KATE ESPARZA

** ENDURING promises .. !! **

God permits personal trials so that we can see Him working in our life !! k.

"God's Word tells us that His mercies and compassions are "new every morning" (Lamentations Chapter 3:22-23) Just as each new day presents us with a different challenge, the Lord reveals the beauty of His character, the fulfillment of His promises, and the tender provision of His grace.

We don't know what today may bring. BUT we do know this: God will amaze us with His unfailing, ever-new compassions. The depths of the valleys just make His mountainpeaks that much more breathtaking". DCE

* FRESHness ...

"MAY today be all you need it to be.

MAY the peace of God and the freshness of the Holy Spirit rest in your thoughts (and heart), then rule in your dreams tonight and conquer all your fears. MAY God manifest Himself in wonderful ways you've never experienced. MAY your joys be fulfilled and your dreams be closer. MAY you enjoy peace, happiness, joy and a true-undying love for Jesus God.

MAY your territory be enlarged" (Anon).

.. THIS, too ..

I recall that when I was in Rehab. it was expressed to me NOT to think of what I can't do now BUT to think of what I CAN do NOW (it's interesting as humans how we tend to minimilise our capabilities instead of finding positive NEW avenues to cater according to our needs) !
