*** The MOMENT of PURPOSE !! ***

The future is made of the same stuff as the present - Simone Weil.

The moment is eternal.  It is unending.  ... .   We are one with all that's going on around us.  Our existence is purposeful and part of the whole creation, and we can sense our purpose.

The present guarantees we are growing even when there's pain.

Nothing is - but now.  And when we dwell on what was or what may be, we are cut off from life ... .

It's only in the present that we are invited to make our special contribution to life; perhaps at this moment our special contribution is to reach out to another person, an act that will change two lives, theirs and ours/ours and theirs.

We must cling to the present or we'll miss its invitation to grow, to help a friend perhaps.  The present holds all we ever need to fulfill our lives.  It provides every opportunity for our happiness.
 ______________

The gift of the present.  I will cherish it, be grateful (thankful), relish it !

~ NEW Heights ! ! ~

I have found that sitting in a place where you have never sat before can be inspiring - Dodie Smith.

REPEATEDLY, today and every day, we will be in new situations, new settings with old friends, and old settings and situations with new friends.  EACH instance is fresh, unlike all the times before.  AND inspiration can accompany each moment, if we but recognise how special it is.

"We will never pass this way again," so the song says, which heightens the meaning of each encounter, every experience.  ACKNOWLEDGING that something can be gained each step along the way invites inspiration.

INSPIRATION moves us to new heights.  We will be called to step beyond our present boundaries.  MAYBE today.  WHENEVER the inspiration catches our attention, we can trust its invitation; we are ready for the challenge it offers.  We need not let our narrow, personal expectations of an experience, a new situation perhaps, prevent us from being open to all the dynamic possibilities it offers.
________________

I must be willing to let my whole self be moved, inspired.  I must be willing to let each moment I experience to be the only moment getting my attention.

Diversity

The world would be a boring place if we
were all the same.  Celebrate your uniqueness.  You are special and much loved.

~ In the MIDST ~

"MIGHTY Lord in Heaven, grief overwhelms me. I feel alone, even in the midst of friends and family who have come to comfort me. Thank You for the comfort only You can give. In Jesus name. Amen."

Came across this prayer today and thought I'd share it with you. Blessings.k.

** Growing !! **.

Am sitting here right now! I'm tired and as usual tending to "push it" even though I'm still trying to pace myself. Hmmm, think I've heard THAT word 'pace' before !
My GP phoned me today to say that I need to go on a course of Medicine. Have started that tonight. MS is not just insidious, so is living life. THERE are many people and we are all different and as has been said before, "wouldn't life be dull, if we were all the same". IT does make living interesting. I suppose it has to be different; "tailor-made" for each, otherwise, how would we grow as learned beings. We do have that responsibility to ourselves.

I haven't got much else to say for the moment except I'm going to be "kind to myself" (there's nothing wrong with doing that) and close this Laptop in a few minutes AFTER replying to a friend to say "yes, I will come to lunch".
* Continue to progress.k.
