I came home from Hospital with a two (2) wheel frame.
I had been reversed on by a 'four-wheel drive' in May. I was "strolling" home on a lovely day when suddenly, I was knocked sideways by that car backing-out of its driveway.. FORTUNATELY, the car stopped when a "solid clunk" was noticed by its driver. SUBSEQUENTLY, my new wheelchair had been jammed underneath and wedged in towards the middle. The wheelchair was a "write-off", but, I believe I am still here to tell that story.
I hadn't been able to lift my right foot, but, my RECENT operation in a City Hospital (emergency back surgery) has allowed me to lift that aforementioned foot. Yay!!
Life certainly may have its "Hurdles", and at times, I felt as though I was suffocating in raw emotion. "My God"!
Step by step, and with that steel Frame, I am encouraged.. many steps must ensue THOUGH, if I am going to become any better.
Love to you - all,
Kim.

~ "Tea Party" .. ~
WHEN our first grandson was just a toddler, I had the joy of being his babysitter on many occasions. Routinely, about mid-morning, I would announce, "Time for a tea party," and we would sit down to Ritz crackers with peanut butter and a small glass of milk. One day Jeffie came to the kitchen sink where I was working and announced to me, "Time for loving, Grandma." Joyfully I picked him up and we shared hugs and kisses, then away he went to play. This became a happy ritual for the rest of my baby-sitting days.
I could not help but think how pleased our Heavenly Father must be when we come to Him and say, "Time for loving." This "time" is when we forget about our work and other interests and just take time to read His Word and communicate with Him by prayer, telling Him of our love for Him. We not only speak of our love, we also demonstrate it by our very act of using exclusively for fellowship with Him.
We have a good example in God's Word of one who took "time for loving." Luke 10: 38 - 42 tells of Mary who "sat at the Lord's feet listening to what he said." We hear Jesus' approval of Mary's "time for loving" in these words, "Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her."
Let us take time to tell the Lord we love Him and make time to show it.
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven . . . a time to love (ECCLESIASTES 3: 1, 8).

** ~ AT this "NEARING" CHRISTMAS 'TIME' !!! ~ **
EACH of us are dying each day! A sobering thought, isn't it? We can run but we can never hide.
*ARE you prepared for your spiritual future/Eternity? We are separately placed here on this earth to ULTIMATELY make an eternal choice. WHERE are you going to spend your Eternity?? WHO do you need to spend Eternity with?
I've made my choice by sincerely (earnestly/genuinely) asking Jesus to "come into my heart"! I KNOW where I'm "going" (*moving forward in life to be eventually kept in a better situation)!
Take action and make the right decision NOW before it's TOO late (*WHAT's just 'around the corner' or even what will happen TOMORROW? ARE we able to truthfully answer that question?).
In the best of interest and hope for each,
Kim.
