* "Hi, dear Diary .. " (this MAY well be my final posting on this blog) !
Hi, dear Diary,
Haven't been particularly well over the past fortnight. * Have been challenged and am being challenged as to how I handle my health problems. Not much fun I must confess, but believe, as it's said, "what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger"!
SERIOUSLY trying to engage if it's worth pursuing a/this blog in the near future - or in any of my current future. IS it valuable to continue? I certainly need to put specially efficacious guidelines in place if I want to redeem any personal stamina. Multiple Sclerosis is insidious. Have been very lethargic - more than normal for Multiple Sclerosis (been so "up and down") and have had the appropriate blood-tests that there are to have. Feel as though I'm "burn't out"!
"Indy" Cat is keeping me company at the moment which is a nice thought. She's loyal and faithful.
I'm embracing her gentleness (if she was human, her soothing; courteous nature would contribute to her being called a Gentlewoman). It's good having quiet times.
Time will tell,
Kim.
P.S: You are most welcome to view/read the blog Archive!!

*** Forgive yourself ! ! ***
"...I also forgive..." (v. 10: New International Version).
* ACCEPT God's forgiveness, and forgive yourself.
THERE must be literally millions of Christians who have never learned THIS precious secret of inner peace and poise: God has forgiven you - so, forgive yourself.
2 Corinthians 2: 1-11.

~ AMPUTATE your Leg ??? ~ ..
"WHO would ever dream of amputating his own leg? Nobody - unless that person had lost his mind or was faced with the grim choice of losing either his leg OR his life.
THAT was Bill Jeracki's terrible predicament, according to The Denver Post, when he was out fishing all alone in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. He was trapped when a boulder fell on his leg, and he was unable to free himself.
Knowing that as night came on he might die of exposure, Bill did what he knew he had to do. Relying on his skill as an assistant to a doctor at a Denver hospital, he took a nylon rope out of his tackle box, tied it tightly above his knee, and cut off his leg with his knife. He then dragged himself to his car and drove 10 miles to the nearest town. He not only survived the trauma, but with an artificial limb he is out fishing again.
What a decision-your leg or your life! BUT what if the stakes were even higher? Suppose you had to give up some habit, ambition, or relationship, and giving up heaven. THE Lord made the issue of following Him THAT decisive. He said, "What profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, AND loses his own soul?" - Matthew 16:26. It's a question you and I must answer". VCG.
"If I gained the world but not the Savior,
Were my life worth living for a day?
Could my yearning heart find rest and comfort
In the things that soon must pass away?" - Olander.
