"Congratulations" to the Melbourne based Musical of 'Mary Poppins' on its Red Carpet DEBUT!!
My Husband and I attended the "Mary Poppins" charity (for kids with cancer) PREVIEW of that Musical last week!
*Julian Fellowes (probably best known as the incorrigible Kilwillie on the BBC series 'Monarch of the Glen') personally introduced the "Mary Poppins" Musical while standing on the 'Her Majesty's Theatre' stage before it began that night. He also stated that the evening was in aid of the above-mentioned charity.
*Julian has written the "book" of the stage musical of 'Mary Poppins' for Cameron MacKintosh (Producer and co-creator) and Disney.

* HAIRstyleCUTTER ? ..
I had a Hairstyle-cut at a Hairdresser's instead of a Haircut. Realised today that what I really was looking for was a personal Hairstyle INSTEAD of just a Haircut. There is a difference.
Very pleased with the outcome. It is a "shortish" Crop (shape). Will be easy to manage!
Have been living in the Bellarine Peninsula for ten (10) years now and had been unable to find a Hairdresser that is a "nifty" Hairstylecutter. My close family and I moved from Gippsland where I did have a preferred Hairdresser (*as you do; especially when you've lived in a region for most of your life).
Will be returning to my newfound Hairdresser (Hairstylecutter) in six (6) weeks and am already looking forward to it. It did take ten (10) years to "seek and find" in that matter, but .. Yay!!

* EFFECTIVE .. God of Salvation !!
The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18).
I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation (Habakkuk 3:18).

* An Update..
Dear Diary,
Just arrived home from attending the musical "Mary Poppins". It is fabulous!!! A "must see".
It's been bittersweet TODAY. Much of life has come to the fore. I am where I'm meant to be at the moment!
Whatever is said or done in life, everyone has had to make their own choice/s. Even while undertaking the possible, absolute utmost best at a specific time (maybe even for people), and it has passed regardless of the result/s, we all still (continue to) have choice/s to decide for our future reference.
I must admit dear diary that life has it's own personal recollections; lessons that everyone must willingly learn if to well progress.
It was a blessing that my Husband and I saw "Mary Poppins" TODAY. It was delightfully worth it!

* FRESHness ...
"MAY today be all you need it to be.
MAY the peace of God and the freshness of the Holy Spirit rest in your thoughts (and heart), then rule in your dreams tonight and conquer all your fears. MAY God manifest Himself in wonderful ways you've never experienced. MAY your joys be fulfilled and your dreams be closer. MAY you enjoy peace, happiness, joy and a true-undying love for Jesus God.
MAY your territory be enlarged" (Anon).

* POLYPHENOLS !!
Biochemical and molecular actions of nutrient rich POLYPHENOLS are beneficial properties found in plants. Those excellent good properties attenuates (weakens) oxidisation in the body!
** Oxidisation CAN be a cause of cancers, Diabetes, Heart disease, Stroke, weight gain and Alzheimers-dementia.
So, "TOP of the Mornin' to you"
and enjoy a maximum of four (4) "cuppas' " a day choosing Black or Green (good quality Jasmine leaf can enhance the drinking taste of the 'green' by incorporating a refreshing 'champagne' note - don't OVERBREW due to incorporating a bitter taste) TEA!!
An APPLE a Day may well keep the Doctor away!

* The TEA-ROOM (day's life event) !
Got up at 7.30 THIS morning. Nurse and care worker arrived to assist me with a shower. That takes between an hour to about seventy-five minutes. Look forward to a shower NOW but it was a huge adjustment at the beginning!
There are many changes we need to adapt to for our own betterment. It's helpful to remember that. Life has changed to how it used to be for me and so it should if I remain teachable. THAT word "teachable" is very much important to progressing well. It is the positive difference!
The values we TRULY esteem in life are intertwined with our choices. Our choices are the "by-product" of our values.
Went to the 'Health And Wellness Centre' THIS afternoon (just for an hour). It helps with maintaining my core body strength. Anyone attending to their personal gymwork exercises achieves that.
WENT also to a local Tea-shop and sipped on a mug of gorgeous organic Earl Grey tea (my favourite when I'm drinking tea).
NO milk (preference).
* I order a pot of tea with the same size pot of extra boiled water and as I say to the Tea-room staff, "I don't have milk and I don't like to drink it strong, thanks". Am sure they are now familiar with my needs. I appreciate that.
Until next time,
Kim.

* 'GONE with the Wind' ??.... (Comical) !!
A Man went to the Cinema to see a re-run of Gone With the Wind and was very surprised to see a large Dog sitting next to a Woman in the row in front of him. What was even more surprising was that the Dog seemed to be following the story, sitting with ears pricked, wagging its tail at the happy parts, and sitting downcast with bowed head during the distressing or emotionally intense parts of the story. At the conclusion of the Movie the Man would not contain his curiosity any longer and as the Audience were filing out of the Cinema, he walked over to the Woman with the Dog. "Excuse me, but I couldn't help noticing your Dog while watching the Movie. He seemed to understand the story and really seemed to enjoy it. It is amazing"! "Yes", replied the Woman enthusiastically, as if slightly puzzled. "I was amazed, too. He didn't like the Book one bit"!!
** "Apples" !! (Comical)
Several boys from School spent their lunchtime playing by a Creek. When they arrived back late the Headmaster hauled them to his Office for an explanation. The first boy explains, "We were just throwing Apples into the Creek". The Headmaster lectures him severely, first for being late and, more especially, for wasting food in a world where many are starving. He orders him to write a hundred lines: 'waste not, want not'. The second boy offers the same reason and receives the same censure and penalty. Now it's the third boy's turn to be questioned. Looking bedraggled, he looks up at the Headmaster and says, "I'm Apples"!

* Coping !
Good has been today! Have learned recently that all days can be commendable. It depends on utilising courage of spirit.
Life's choices determine our experience or destiny to a great extent. Our journey is exciting at times although it may seem to menace. *THAT is when utilising the depths of our spirit may be put into positive action as a coping mechanism. We learn. Cope we will. Thank God!

AMAZING GRACE !!
"AMAZING Grace - how sweet the sound - THAT saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost but NOW am found, WAS blind but now I see.
'TWAS grace that taught my heart to fear, AND grace my fears re - lieved;
HOW pre - cious did that grace ap - pear THE hour I first believed!
THRU man - y dan - gers, toils and snares I have al - read - y come;
'TIS grace hath brought me safe thus far, AND grace will lead me home.
WHEN we've been there ten thou - sand years, BRIGHT shin - ing as the Sun,
WE'VE no less days to sing God's praise THAN when we'd first begun"
(John Newton 1725-1807).

*** 'PONY' (alias "Lucky") Day ... !! *** (Comical ?)
A young Reporter was interviewing a "chap" (fellow) named Pony (alias "Lucky") Day. "Who's he"? You well may ask. He had just reached his 100th. Birthday! The eager Reporter asked him what he attributed to his extremely good health. "Well..", he thoughtfully said, "I have always worked hard and eaten moderately. Of course, nowadays, foods are genetically modified where I used to eat from scratch and just took it for granted that food would always stay the same. Pity". "Have you been confined to Bed any days"? (excuse the pun) the Reporter asked. "Of course", replied Pony, "but please don't put that in your Paper"!!! "I'm dayzed" (*excuse that pun), replied the Reporter. "Don't be", spoke proud Pony (he didn't understand what he just said).
