* * Complete ANY Assignment ! !

"Love has the quality of informing almost everything-even one's work" - Sylvia Ashton Warner.

We are changed through loving and being loved.  Our attitudes are profoundly and positively affected by the presence of love in our lives.  EACH time we offer a loving response to a friend, co-worker, even a stranger, we powerfully influence the dynamics of the interaction between us.

EVERY response we make to someone changes us while it informs them.  When we treat others with disdain, we invite the same.  WHEN we express only criticism of others, our self-assessment is equally negative.  The beauty of a loving posture is that it calls forth love in response.  The more love we give away, the more we receive.

Any task before us is lessened when we carry love in our hearts.  Love is more powerful than fear.  Love helps to open the channel to God, assuring us of the strength, the understanding, the patience needed to complete any assignment confronting us.

"Be original!"

My mother always said, "Be original!" but I didn't understand until I changed to be like everyone else - Sandra Bullock, Academy Award-winning actress.

Hi!

It's so interesting going back to from where I started this Blog.  This Blog charts my Journey, and a Journey it has been!

I refer to my older Posts and notice and remember how there was a restriction then, when only a smaller amount of Labels, as compared to now, were allowed to accompany each Post.  Change happens.

Life is.  Life continues.  We never go backwards.  We only go forwards as we learn and yearn to improve our experiential understanding of God.

There are many beautiful things this world of school offers.  Whether it's being fascinated with Nature, being able to feel; and that our lives, indeed, are an expression of our mind (as described in my Post titled Attitude).

Please feel free to "surf" this Blog and explore, even, once again, perhaps, our Journeys' together!

Be blessed; in the richness of life,
Kim.

~~~ * The World Has Need of You (E. Whitell) ! ~~~
If it's ever so small the part you take,
The world has need of you.
Be it big or little the effort you make,
The world has need of you.
If it's only a thought you give by the way,
If it's only love's word you pause to say,
It's a part that nobody else can play,
So the world has need of you.
By your smile you can change another's life;
The world has need of you,
By a word you can bring peace out of strife;
The world has need of you.
Then lift your head and never say die;
Count every blessing, stop every sigh.
Get busy...don't let a chance slip by,
For the world has need of you.
* PERSPECTIVE !
WHAT do we do about godless culture that clamours for our attention?
HOW do we defend our children, ourselves and others around us from unhealthy influences?
THE answer is the same for all: Our protection is the Word of God.
TO begin with, we must spend time in God's Word, allowing His precepts and principles to permeate into our thinking and living. WE ought also to teach it to our children from the time they are small, and we should readily share it with others - helping them to understand God's perspective on the situations of their lives.
A Tool for You. So how do we get into God's Word? HOW do we come to understand it so we can apply its truth to our lives? We must read it - and study it - listening and asking Him to speak to us.. "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind" - Romans 12:2.
ALBERT LEE
The listening side of prayer: Christians who have learned to pray but not to listen will find it difficult to get guidance. Often we treat God the way we treat our friends, and do all the talking!
We allow Him no time to talk to us, to whisper His confirmation or His word of change. To get guidance, you dare not neglect the listening side of prayer. TELL Him your problems, then sit back and listen for the answer. IT will come in a quiet, deliberate witness to your heart. Don't be anxious or too eager. Let all haste and tension go. As you sense His nearness, lay the issue before Him. Then go the way of peace. * Psalm 31: 1-24.
PRAYER: Father, I need so much to learn the art of listening. Quieten my heart today that I might learn to listen for your still small voice. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
