~ 'Natural' 5-MINUTE LIFE CHANGER !! ? ~

* THIS was TOO interesting NOT to pass on ...

* Pass the Cinnamon shaker.. please !

Just half a TEASPOON of Cinnamon a day has been shown to LOWER LDL Cholestrol (bad), while OTHER studies suggest it may REGULATE blood sugar in people with TYPE 2 Diabetes, as well as PROVIDE pain relief for Arthritis.

** AND if that's NOT enough, ANOTHER study found that SMELLING Cinnamon ... can BOOST memory, ALSO !

(Australian 'Woman's Day'.)

*** CINNAMON: Is apparently from the spicy bark of the Ceylon tree !

~ ** The ORIGINAL - 'Aardvark Antics' : A "FOODIE" Blog ** LAMB-chop witness ? ! ** ~

"Let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth." - John 3:18

"HAVE you ever heard of witnessing with a lamb chop ? W.H. Lax, a Methodist minister in London for 38 years, did just that.

An old man was gravely ill, and Pastor Lax called on him. The man had no time for ministers, and as soon as he saw Lax's clerical collar he turned away and refused to speak.

Lax suspected that the man's food supply had run low. So when he left the house, the minister stopped at a local butcher shop and had two lamb chops sent over. He called again in a few days and the old fellow was a bit friendlier. On his way home, Lax left another order with the butcher. By his third visit there was a noticeable change. The man was congenial and outgoing; he even allowed the minister to witness to him.

WHILE Lax was away on a preaching mission, the old man died. Apparently, he had put his trust in Christ, for just before he died he said, "Tell the minister that it's all right now. I'm going to God. But be sure to tell him it wasn't his talking that changed me. It was those lamb chops !"

MEETING someone's need can provide a great opportunity to share the gospel. It can melt the most hardened heart and open doors that have been locked for a lifetime.

Do you know someone who needs a "lamb chop" today ?" - HWR

* How can you show your love and concern by meeting the needs of people in your neighborhood or workplace ?

~ SUCCESS in Failure !! ~

"Ours is a success-orientated world, where one's value is often measured by wealth, social position or profession. Failure in such a world is frowned upon.

Thankfully, that is not the way of God's kingdom. The Lord has a different way of measuring, for He "does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart" (1 Samuel 16:7).

BUT Christians still fall prey to the world's standard for success. STRUGGLES, unmet goals and unrealised expectations can lead to despair, a sense of failure and a feeling of worthlessness. THE Scriptures, however, present a different outlook. God's Word says STRUGGLE and FAILURE can become sources of STRENGTH and PERSONAL GROWTH. THEY can be stepping stones to heavenly success (Psalm 37: 23-24).

THE supreme human example is our Lord. His crucifixion was, by all wordly standards, a failure - a failure to justify His three years of ministry, a failure to overcome the might of Rome and an apparent failure to keep the promises He made to His followers. BUT their verdict of failure was ONLY an illusion! His death and resurrection raised Him into glory and broke sin's hold over us. (* Sin's actual worldly hold over us can be destroyed by our personal choice if we just obey the one-triune God by pledging ourselves to the Lord's requirement of sincerely asking Jesus to come into our heart. IF your pledge is genuine He will then give us the desire to follow Him).

Our struggles and apparent failures can raise us up to a new maturity in Christ which will sustain us and give us ministry to others. This is God's promise to us, and His promises NEVER fail! (Joshua 23:14)".

"Now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith - of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire - may be proved GENUINE" (1 Peter 1: 6-7).

~~ ** SALVATION ** ~~

SALVATION is another word for everlasting good ETERNITY! If you are genuinely/sincerely interested in being SAVED for LIFE (Eternal) then you are most welcome to read the published Post on this blog titled 'ETERNITY'/*dated 27/11/2010.

* My life has changed for the far/utmost-better since I've earnestly asked Jesus to personally come into my heart and have very gladly accepted Him as my Saviour!

P.S: ONCE our body is dead IT'S dead - our soul is eternal BUT where do you want/choose to SPEND your personal ETERNITY (pause and think of THAT!) - with the good or evil - NOT personally accepting Jesus as your Saviour? The souls of THOSE who reject Jesus are held elsewhere (another sphere) by God UNTIL judgement day INSTEAD of passing STRAIGHT into the good presence of Jesus when their body dies - which happens ONLY if they've already accepted Him while given the fair and faithful opportunity to accept Jesus God (like everyone) when living on earth in the/this period of His grace!

REMEMBER: There is only One Saviour (He rose from the dead by and through the Holy Spirit for and in God's purpose - the Trinity - read regarding the incarnation of Christ, for you; mankind that He Created) whether you accept it or not! This fact has been documented by
eyewitnesses whose acknowledgements withstand centuries; having been finished perfectly with the Scriptures of the Holy Bible! Other so-called saviours are just dead men.

All the best, always,
Kim.

~ God Is Enough ~

"And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all you need, you will abound in every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8)".

"God is enough. He is our all-suffcient One. He is able to make all things possible for us through His grace. The original word for this grace is "charis" or "free blessing." It is spontaneous and universal. So it is in God's adequacy that we fnd the provision which abounds with every blessing we need. He will keep nothing from us to fulfill His glorious purpose.

For what reason are these wonderful gifts supplied? "So that in all things at all times, having all you need, you will abound in every good work." Or, as one writer put it, you will have ample means in yourself to meet each and every good cause!

As we abound in all the lovely gifts of our Almighty God, there should be a natural overflow of grace from our lives. This overflow can touch those around us who are in need.

We need to ask God to make our service for Him more abounding. Remember, He is able to equip us with the abilities to meet the task.

Daily WAIT upon Him for His grace.
Be WILLING to be emptied of your own desires and to follow His direction for your life.
Seek WISDOM from Him for each day.
Work WORTHILY of God's high calling through diligence and faithfulness."

ARLISS M. ALLEN

( ** Pray; (always talk to Him throughout the day), Praise Him; (thanking Jesus/God for His wonderful character, and being in action - He's working behind the scenes of life), and read the Bible DAILY - absorbing what is being said). Cheers.k.

**** ~ Eternity !! ~ ****

YOU are not alone if you are still wondering whether to open your heart to the FREE offer of God's gift of salvation. Many think the offer is too good to be true. Many more are afraid they'll be obligated to somehow repay God for His gift.

Yet the decision to receive the gift of salvation is yours. The apostle John wrote: "He came to His own people, and even they rejected Him. But to all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God" (John 1:11-12).

IF you are ready to receive the greatest of all gifts, the openness of your heart is what God is looking for. You might want to sincerely use your own words, or express a prayer like this:

"Dear God, I have sinned against You. I believe that Jesus Your Son, that He died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins, and that He rose from the dead to prove it. Now I accept Your offer of full forgiveness and eternal life. I accept Jesus as Your gift for my salvation."

IF this is the honest expression of your heart, you have entered into a personal relationship with God!

** You are encouraged to focus on true biblical values by reading/absorbing God's word from the Bible.

A church should be operated by God's word. Be wary over leaders' in that church that do NOT display/live and talk Bible-teaching (they tend to "water" it down by being lost in translation). *ALL of God's word is true as it is written in the Bible. Do NOT be distracted by luke-warm Christians in fellowship but be always wary. *DO not despair. God is on your side provided you remain faithful to Him!!

*THERE is no perfect church. IF you realise this, find a church that you believe represents Jesus Christ!

*An understanding of the Bible is of the utmost importance to learn and grow as a true-Christian.

(P.S. My Husband and I have been true-Christians' for twenty (20) years' and have together learned that information through experience. We will never stop learning.)

*We find and know that the Bible is the living word and is relevant "yesterday, today and tomorrow" (without compromise)!!

* ASSURANCE ... * "Read it FOR yourself" ... * 1 John 5: 1-15.

"I have written this to you ... that you may know that you have eternal life" (1 John 5: 13).

"IF we believe God's Word, then we will never doubt the reality of our Salvation". SELWYN HUGHES

"Read it for yourself!"
The story is told of a young Christian who, having accepted Christ, went home that night and before going to sleep, read these words in his Bible:
"He who has the Son has life."
"Thank you, he said, "I know I am saved because the Bible says so." In the night, the adversary came to him and said, "You are not saved. It's all a myth." Switching on the light, he opened his Bible at the verse he had read before, then putting his finger on the verse, said to the foe/devil "There it is - read it for yourself!"

*Prayer:
Lord, how foolish I have been to listen to the/my adversary's doubts. I see so clearly how THIS has caused me to lack the assurance You want me to have. NOW I rest on Your Word and believe Your eternal truth. I am Yours, dear Lord, and You are mine, for time and through eternity. Amen.

P.S: WHAT do you believe??

LISTEN - carefully !

''...the Lord came and called ... and Samuel replied, 'Yes, I'm listening.' " (1 Samuel 3:1-10)

PRAYER: Yes, Lord, I will be that one - teach me how to be quiet and to wait before You, so that I might hear Your voice and listen to Your message to my heart. This I ask in Jesus' Name. Amen.

* ETERNITY ...

"He has put eternity in their hearts" (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
"I once came across a scene of beauty outside Anchorage, Alaska. Against a slate-gray sky, the water of an ocean inlet had a slight greenish cast, interrupted by small whitecaps. SOON I saw these were not whitecaps at all but whales-silvery white beluga whales in a pod feeding no more than 50 feet offshore. I stood with other onlookers, listening to the rhythmic motion of the sea, following the graceful, ghostly crescents of surfacing whales. The crowd was hushed, even reverent. For just a moment nothing else mattered.

The author of Ecclesiastes would have understood the crowd's response.
He sees with dazzling clarity the beauty in the created world and that God "has put eternity in their hearts" (Ecc. 3:11). Such an elegant phrase applies to much in human experience. Surely it hints at a religious instinct. Our hearts perceive eternity in ways other than the religious.

Ecclesiates presents both sides of life on this planet: the promise of pleasures so alluring that we may devote our lives to their pursuit, and the haunting realization that these pleasures ultimately do not satisfy. God's tantalizing world is too big for us. UNLESS we acknowledge our limits and subject ourselves to God's rule, unless we TRUST the GIVER of all good gifts, we will end up in despair." P.Y.

What watchful ear can hear
God's voice amidst the garden?
Yet hush! for He is here'!-C.
TO MAKE THE MOST OF today,

KEEP.. Eternity.. IN MIND!
