Yesterday was a very good day ... and, I'm talking about it with it having just finished 38 minutes ago (as I'm typing, my laptop says it's now 12.38am. I had better hurry and finish here soon).
I'm sure it's because this year is a renewed start that I'm feeling refreshed. It's not because it's snowing (am very sorry for certain parts of the world where it has been intolerably snowing and with floods being so prevalent at this time in other places of Australia).
It's summer in Australia and the temperature was 41 degrees celcius on New Year's Eve here at Bellarine. Yes .. I survived! The wind was a hot northerly and we shared our gas BBQ dinner with a next-door neighbour.
Our daughter was celebrating elsewhere .. so, there was just three (3) of us eating, drinking lemon, lime and bitters and lemon and barley cordial with sparkling mineral water (that was me) amongst the frivolity. It was a fun time. At midnight, we enjoyed listening to the local 'fireworks'!
Thought I'd let you know that I decided to delete the
titled post 'PROLONGING BLOG POSTINGS' because it is now no longer relevant!
Have been "challenged" and no doubt, will continue to be "challenged" from time to time (like everyone is). I didn't realise at that moment in time if I would be confident enough to earnestly continue with the blog. I've tried to make it special and interesting and am learning to be more patient with myself in the process. That's good.
