THOUGHT I'd share with you that I have been frantically knitting a scarfe. Am using two (2) lots of yarn together while knitting. One lot of yarn is of many pastel colours; the other, is one colour of bright indigo (blue). I like the contrast of opposite colouring applied together. Have been improvising the stitches with plain knit, purl, a stocking stitch and moss stitch. Am quietly enjoying knitting this.
The last scarfe I knitted was with a special wool that can easily be called "pom pom" or "snowball" and that is what it looks like when finished. A challenge !
Knitting scarves with yarn is fun and there is so much scope to choose from. I don't know how people knit strips of plastic together (the strips are usually cut from different commercial bread bags). It is very clever - in fact it is incredible.
It's amazing what can be done.
Cheers.k.
