~ God SURELY works in THIS way ! ~

I've come to the conclusion, that it's needless to continue to "push myself". I'll just blog for the enjoyment of it (took me a while to evaluate/learn that, didn't it?). Why should I pressure myself? Simple! All is good.k.

P.S. God can SURELY work in this way. WHEN one door closes another door opens!

~ * SHINE !! * ~

MORE than ever, Australians are putting their health and wellbeing above all else in their lives. REGARDLESS of age and circumstance, feeling good and being healthy and happy is a necessity for everyone and of all ages!

AS people try to juggle work, family, friends, social life, as part of everyday life, they realise that without good health and sense of wellbeing, they are unable to tackle the challenges they regularly encounter with their hectic and demanding lifestyles.

WHILE good health may well be about following a sound - practical diet, and embarking on a regular and sensible exercise program, it also is about taking a sanctity (sacredness) approach to not just our bodies, but our mind and spirit, too. While it is important to watch what you eat, nourishing your body with good, wholesome foods and even vitamin supplements, it is just as essential to care for your spiritual and mental state. Inner health is seen as an integral key to outer health and vitality, and as such, it is possible for anyone to look and feel great at any age!

TODAY it has never been easier or more accessible to enjoy great health. FOR those of us who are overweight, smoke, or avoid exercise, there are countless avenues available to address those concerns, and myriad experts willing to help you adopt more healthful habits ( * find an expert that you feel comfortable with). FORTUNATELY, it's never too late to start, and simple straightforward steps will only lead to positive change/s and a greater sense of wellbeing.

One of the most important things to keep in mind is a positive and optimistic attitude. The simple fact of feeling good about what you do, can make a huge difference when trying to adhere to new and better lifestyle choice/s. FEELING good about yourself and your lifestyle, is the first step in feeling happy and fulfilled in your lifestyle. Taking command of your health and wellbeing will give you all the tools you need to take charge of your life, and help you feel empowered by your 'healthy' choice/s! Anon.

~ Vitamin ALERT ~

The essential fat-soluble vitamin A, is stored in the liver after absorption! Excessive amounts of this vitamin are toxic to the liver, so it is important we don't have too much. According to the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC), the maximum safe limits of vitamin A for adults is no more than 3000 micrograms per day.

**** ~ A Crutch ?? !! ~ ****

HAVE you ever heard skeptics say that the Christian faith is nothing more than a crutch - that the only reason people claim to trust Jesus is that they are weaklings who have to make up "religion" to get by?

Apparently those skeptics haven't heard about the doctor in one Far Eastern country who spent 2-1/2 years in jail being "re-educated" because he professed faith in Christ. THEN, after his release, he was arrested again - this time for his efforts at his church.

And perhaps those skeptics haven't heard about Paul. AFTER trusting Christ, he was arrested, flogged, mocked, and shipwrecked (2 Cor. 11: 16-29).

These believers were not looking for a crutch. No, they had something deep and essential in their hearts. They had a personal relationship with God - a relationship born of faith in the work of Jesus on the cross. As a result, they became children of the King - eager to sacrifice everything for the privilege of proclaiming Him. They were not limping along looking for something to hold them up.

A crutch? Hardly. Faith in Christ is not about safety and caution. It's about believing Jesus and trusting Him no matter what. (It's about taking up a daily cross (Luke 9:23) and living for the Savior.) - Dave Brannon.

"Take up your cross," the Savior said,
"If you would My disciple be;
Take up your cross with willing heart
And humbly follow after Me." - Everest.

"We are hard-pressed
on every side, yet not
crushed." - 2 Corinthians 4:8

(*READ: 2 Corinthians 4: 8-15)

Because Jesus bore the cross for us, we willingly (*have/been given the desire to) take it up for Him!

* "Take CARE"..of your body (essential) !! *

It has been a better day for me TODAY. Am watching which foods I nourish my body with. Enjoy salad in a fibre (usually Wholemeal) Roll to eat for lunch. Homemade winter soups (Butternut pumpkin is my favourite - steamed then mixed with Massel vegetable stock. Delicious!). Three (3) Egg Omelette (no need to have more than 4 eggs a week) with added favourite raw plant ingredients (baby spinach leaves and sliced gourmet tomatoes) with a pinch of sea salt for added flavour. Eggs don't take long to cook and are excellent for the Choline required for our brain function. Any lastly added raw plant ingredients are unstewed. The flavour in cooking this way is phenomenal and so is the underestimated value of that food needed for our bodies. It's so simple!

A whole (synergistic - Vitamins that work together as one) Multi-vitamin and drinking two (2) to three (3) litres of clean water to keep hydrated (no more) a day. I find Vitamin D and Vitamin C (with BioFlavonoids - natural Citrus) also helps. Vitamin E is also a superior anti-oxidant. N.B. *Sugar CAN leach Vitamins from the body! (STEVIA is a better alternative. It is all natural and tastes as good as sugar does. Can be obtained from Supermarkets in the 'sugar aisle' or at Health Food Shops.)

*There are many recipes' that one can adapt to suit their needs and others' needs (even for a special occasion)!!

Avocado provides lean protein which is necessary for helping to build our bones.
I feel and am healthier when I eat the right way (the way our bodies were originally mean't to be). We need our Vitamins (to survive)!!

BON APETIT.
