**** ~ Eternity !! ~ ****

YOU are not alone if you are still wondering whether to open your heart to the FREE offer of God's gift of salvation. Many think the offer is too good to be true. Many more are afraid they'll be obligated to somehow repay God for His gift.

Yet the decision to receive the gift of salvation is yours. The apostle John wrote: "He came to His own people, and even they rejected Him. But to all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God" (John 1:11-12).

IF you are ready to receive the greatest of all gifts, the openness of your heart is what God is looking for. You might want to sincerely use your own words, or express a prayer like this:

"Dear God, I have sinned against You. I believe that Jesus Your Son, that He died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins, and that He rose from the dead to prove it. Now I accept Your offer of full forgiveness and eternal life. I accept Jesus as Your gift for my salvation."

IF this is the honest expression of your heart, you have entered into a personal relationship with God!

** You are encouraged to focus on true biblical values by reading/absorbing God's word from the Bible.

A church should be operated by God's word. Be wary over leaders' in that church that do NOT display/live and talk Bible-teaching (they tend to "water" it down by being lost in translation). *ALL of God's word is true as it is written in the Bible. Do NOT be distracted by luke-warm Christians in fellowship but be always wary. *DO not despair. God is on your side provided you remain faithful to Him!!

*THERE is no perfect church. IF you realise this, find a church that you believe represents Jesus Christ!

*An understanding of the Bible is of the utmost importance to learn and grow as a true-Christian.

(P.S. My Husband and I have been true-Christians' for twenty (20) years' and have together learned that information through experience. We will never stop learning.)

*We find and know that the Bible is the living word and is relevant "yesterday, today and tomorrow" (without compromise)!!

*** ~ The STAR In The WINDOW !! ~ ***

DURING World War II, it was the custom in the United States for a family who had a son serving in the military to place a star in the front window of their home. But a gold star indicated that the son had died in support of his country's cause.

Years ago, Sir Harry Lauder told a touching story about this custom. He said that one night a man was walking down a New York City street accompanied by his 5-year-old son. The little fellow was interested in the brightly lighted windows of the houses and wanted to know why some houses had a star in the window. The father explained that those families had a son fighting in the war. The child would clap his hands as he saw another star in the window and would cry out, "Look Daddy, there's another family who gave a son for his country."

AT last they came to an empty lot, and a break in the row of houses. Through the gap a star could be seen shining brightly in the sky. The little lad caught his breath, "Oh, Daddy," he cried, "Look at the star in the window of heaven! God must have given His Son too."

Yes indeed! There is a star in God's window. Do you realize what He did for you? Because of God's love for us, He gave His Son. Have you thanked Him? - M.R. De Haan

For God so loved the world, He gave His only Son
To die on Calvary's tree, from sin to set me free;
Someday He's coming back, what glory that will be!
Wonderful His love to me. - Smith.

Many give their lives for their country, but Jesus gave His life for the world.

"For God loved the
world so much that
He gave His one and
only Son, so that
everyone who believes
in Him will not perish
but have eternal life."

** Heart benefits of juice !! **

TWO glasses of orange juice every day can lower blood pressure and cut the risk of heart disease.

Scientists found middle-aged men who drank 500ml of juice daily for a month saw a significant drop in their blood pressure, which meant their risk of heart disease dropped by 20 per cent.

The French study showed orange juice contains a naturally occurring plant chemical called hesperidin.

IT belongs to a class of disease-fighting compounds called flavonoids that are found in a variety of foods, which come from plants such as fruit, cocoa and tea.

*** 'CHILLED BEAN DIP' !! ***

Somehow offering an 'appetiser' before the entree is too often reserved only for special occasions. It doesn't haven't be this way. In fact, most appetisers can be prepared in just ten (10) to fifteen (15) minutes - something that can be done while the rest of the meal is cooking!

Appetisers are a great way to put the unexpected into a meal, whether it's on a "grey" day in the depth of Winter or in the middle of a too-hectic work-week. ** IF you find cooking to be relaxing, creating a tasty appetiser can be a wonderful anecdote to a busy day.

'CHILLED BEAN DIP':

Yield: 2 cups.

1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans/preferably ORGANIC; DRAINED and RINSED ( * "crush" with back of spoon)
2 jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 LEVEL teaspoon chilli powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon minced onion
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley

PLACE the beans, jalapeno peppers, vinegar, chilli powder, and cumin in a food processor (whisk?). Blend until smooth! Transfer the mixture to a bowl. STIR in the onion and parsley and serve.

** ALSO '... baulk at a second euro bailout'.

"... Despite the predictions by some economists that Germany might choose to opt out of the euro zone, few voices in Germany and certainly no political parties are calling for such a dramatic move.

Instead Chancellor Merkel has declared the fight to save the euro as nothing less than the struggle for peace and protection against war in Europe.

"We're talking about something huge here," she said at the annual gathering of her CDU party this week. "This is about the European ideal of peace."

She added that "amid all the talk of crisis mechanisms, voting rights, contracts, stability culture, rescue packages, the IMF, currency, the European central bank", it was "easy to forget" the reason the euro had been founded in the first place.

**** URGENT: re 'CODEX ALIMENTARIUS' !!! ****

**** Unfortunately, it is necessary to let you know of the so-called 'CODEX ALIMENTARIUS'. It is being implemented soon in Australia and advise you that:

P.S: The true meaning from the word for Organic will be "watered-down". ORGANIC will no longer have the identical stringent/binding regulations (government arrangements) ! Animals for meat consumption will be supplied with growth hormones against no 'withholding' period. These growth hormones were banned in Australia several decades ago. The world will trade food supplies with each other and any amount of foreign pests and diseases will enter your Country. ** Vitamins - you will be affected with being involuntarily used to introduce a comparison to have a medical condition to obtain dosages of Vitamins that we have been accustomed to buying off the Supermarket/Chemist shelf in the direction of this very short space of time (Germany has already gone this way - NOT SURPRISING as THIS IS WHERE "CODEX ALIMENTARIUS" was brought into existence !) !! Plants will become more difficult to grow sourcing our own vegetable patches from seed because they will be genetically modified. Flouride has promptly been prepared in position of our water-supply and it is classed as a toxic-waste. WE are being polluted slowly but surely. **Any (every) amount of reasons WILL be made present; for example, flouride particularises a "helpmate" for your teeth. The 'world-wide' Government will leave as a legacy making known towards us by appointing a docile comparison that the changes will be perfectly safe and even argue that they are better for us ! GENETICALLY modified plants will be regarded/quoted as more pest and disease free and growth hormones are requisite requirement to feed the STARVING MILLIONS. *We are making known of this to you just to have a state or quality for remaining, maybe sojourning?, on the "look-out" !! .k.&.r.(husband).

Hi Kim

Yes, we know all about CA and the ongoing corruption of the food supply. The Alliance for Natural Health is fighting this in the UK and Euro parliaments.

With my best wishes
Phillip

Hi Phillip,
Appreciate your informed honesty regarding the natural health regime of keeping well. It's great and 'thank you' for your continued passion on this practical life-giving subject! Was wondering if you have you heard of a current so-called subtle, REAL food political (World Health Organisation) anilhilation that has been infiltrating (apparently since WW2)?? It's called 'CODEX ALIMENTARIUS' (where all nutritious food products are subtly/slowly, definitely being corrupted until they will no longer be applicable to ordinary man - this idea is also being subtly trialled in Third World Countries. Malnutrition.). The 'CODEX ALIMENTARIUS' is a kind of treaty that has been signed by quite a few countries and hasn't been fully implemented yet.
VITAMINS are supposedly, eventually, to be exterminated from 'the shelves' ALSO. Don't know when. It's absolutely horrid to think about it.
Kind Regards,
Kim.

*** DON'T Forget Me, LORD ?? !!! ***

DO you ever wonder if the Lord has forgotten you? Does it seem as if He's not paying as much attention to you as He once did? IF so, remember that appearances can be deceiving. Regardless of how it looks right now, the Lord is not far from you. He may be giving you an opportunity to trust Him and wait for His help rather than rely on your own resources.

We are all familiar with a similar kind of testing in everyday life! What parent has not told his child to stay in a certain place until he returns? And what parent is not distressed if that same child is unwilling to wait but quickly runs off on his own?

David, the author of Psalm 13, reflected the thoughts of a child of God who certainly must have pleased the heavenly Father. He was being put to the test. He knew the experience of feeling that he had been abandoned by the Lord. Yet he remained convinced that his only real hope was in God, and that He would reward his faith.

Are you being tested right now? Does God seem far away? It's your opportunity to learn what David learned - that the Lord never leaves you. * He sustains all who put their trust in Him. - Mart De Haan

** "SWEETER than HONEY" ! ! **

The more than 1.5 million kinds of insects display a diversity that points to the wisdom of an infinite Creator. The common honey bee organizes a little city inside its hive. It builds 10,000 cells for honey, 12,000 for the larvae, and a special chamber for the queen mother.

WHEN temperatures inside the hive become so warm that the honey is in danger of being lost through the softened wax, squads of sentinels automatically take their places at the hive's entrance. Their fast-beating wings create a cooling system that rivals the electric fan.

French scientist Rene Antoine Ferchault de Reaumur examined a wasp's nest in 1719 and noted that it seemed to be made of a type of crude pasteboard. After further investigation, he discovered that most of the material was obtained from tree fibers. As a result of this study, the first successful production of paper from wood pulp was achieved. Yet God had instilled this ability in the wasp at the dawn of history.

There are millions of similar wonders in our world, more than enough to convince anyone with an open mind and a searching heart that a great, all-wise Creator brought them into being. He deserves our heartfelt worship. - HGB

** PEOPLE PROBLEMS ? !! **

My neighbour seemed upset with me. Apparently I had done something that bothered her. WHEN I asked if I had offended her, she responded with a curt "No!" I told her, "I don't want any bad feelings between us. If I've done something to offend you, I apologize." Since then the climate has remained cool.

Someone has said, "The more I get to know the human race, the more I love my dog." Dogs are loyal, dependable, eager to please, and quick to forgive and forget. Don't you wish people were more like that? BUT sometimes no matter how hard we try to have a good relationship with someone, it doesn't work.

The apostle Paul addressed that situation in Romans 12:18. *Notice the phrase "as much as depends on you." He knew that some people problems may never be resolved. It takes two to quarrel; it takes two to reconcile. If you do your part and the problem remains, there is still a plan to follow. Don't harbor resentment or retaliate with the weapon of silence. Work at overcoming evil with good (v.21), and let God work out the problem.

WE need to keep following the steps given in Romans 12:9-21 until our people problems are resolved - but especially if they're not. - DJD

*** THORNS ? ! ***

I take pleasure in infirmities, . . . in distresses, for Christ's sake. - 2 Corinthians 12:10

TO give thanks in every situation is sometimes very difficult. When your body is wracked with pain, or you have just learned that you have a physical problem for which there is no cure, or you have lost your job, or a cherished relationship has been broken, it's hard to feel grateful. But we can learn to thank God because He gives us strength when we feel weak.

That's why Paul could say, "I take pleasure in infirmities, . . . in distresses, for Christ's sake" (2 Corinthians 12:10). And as believers, we can be grateful that through such experiences God is accomplishing what is best for us. EVEN through our suffering. He is working for our good (Romans 8:28).

Scottish author and preacher George Matheson (1842-1906), who was blind, expressed this prayer: "I have thanked Thee a thousand times for my roses, but never once for my 'thorn' . . . . Teach me the glory of my cross; teach me the value of my 'thorn.' Show me that I have climbed to Thee by the path of pain. Show me that my tears have made my rainbow."

As we surrender ourselves to the Lord and remember that He is working in everything to accomplish our ultimate good, we can thank Him even when we are pierced by "thorns." - Richard De Haan.

We can give thanks in everything
And say, "Your will be done,"
For God's at work in everything
To make us like His Son. - D. De Haan

It's easier to bear the burden of suffering when we carry it with gratitude.

** USE What You Have ! ! **

Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them. - Romans 12:6

A GROUP of animals decided to improve their general welfare by starting a school. The curriculum included swimming, running, climbing, and flying. The duck, an excellent swimmer, was deficient in other areas, so he majored in climbing and flying, much to the detriment of his swimming. The rabbit, a superior runner, was forced to spend so much time in other classes that he soon lost much of his famed speed. The squirrel, who had been rated "A" as a climber, dropped to a "C" because his instructors spent hours trying to teach him to fly. And the eagle could no longer to soar to the treetops because he had to learn how to swim.

WHAT happened to this group of animals portrays what often occurs in our churches. Romans 12: 1-8 teaches that we are all given certain gifts. But some of us serve in so many areas that our tasks are not done well. As a result, the whole church suffers.

IF God made you a teacher - be a teacher. Study diligently and do your best. IF He's given you the gift of mercy, serve cheerfully and don't expect others to do what you do. Accept your spiritual gifts. CULTIVATE your capabilities! Stop comparing. ENJOY being you.

*** ~ GRACE !! ~ ***

WHAT makes Christianity different from all the other religions of the world? Years ago that very question was discussed at a conference. Some of the participants argued that Christianity is unique in teaching that God became man. But someone objected, saying that other religions teach similar doctrines. What about the resurrection? No, it was argued, other faiths believe that the dead rise again. The discussion grew heated.

C.S. Lewis, a strong defender of Christianity, came in late, sat down, and asked, "What's the rumpus about?" When he learned that it was a debate about the uniqueness of Christianity, he immediately commented, "Oh, that's easy. It's grace."

How right he was! The very heart of the gospel is the supreme truth that God accepts us with no conditions whatever when we put our trust in the atoning sacrifice of His incarnate Son. Although we are helplessly sinful, God in grace forgives us completely. It's by His infinite grace that we are saved, not by moral character, works of righteousness, commandment-keeping, or churchgoing. When we do nothing else but accept God's total pardon, we receive the guarantee of eternal life (Ti. 3:4-7).

Good news indeed. What a gospel! What a Saviour! - VCG

Freely bestowed on all who believe!
You who are longing to see His face,
Will you this moment His grace receive? - Johnston

OTHERWISE ?????

All the best.k.
