2. HOLD IN MOUTH FOR THREE (3) SECONDS.

3. SWALLOW ! !


** REMEMBER TO TAKE A SMALL SIP OF DRINK AFTER EVERY TWO (2) MOUTHFULS OF FOOD.


Safe Swallowing Strategies:

1. DO NOT SPEAK or LAUGH when EATING and DRINKING.

2. REDUCE BACKGROUND NOISE WHEN EATING AND DRINKING (E.G., TURN OFF TELEVISION) TO INCREASE CONCENTRATION.
